Many positives out of sadness Emma Newton was a member of the dance company I am part of Youth Dance Tynedale. A highly talented dancer she was certain to have become a special sportswoman in the future like our Olympic stars. After her tragic death YDT have done several fundraising events to raise over £3000 for the fund set up in her memory that now totals over £25000! Emma had the brightest smile a smile that will never die. Now she's gone we need to get people smiling through our united love for dance. My dream is to ensure that Emma's passion for dance is lived on through many generations. In the past YDT have organised dance workshops for younger children giving them an experience of contemporary dance and we hope inspiring them to take it up in the future!
