Josephine Goodfellow

Josie has cared for her husband who was paralysed from the chest down after a car accident 25 years ago. She has also raised 3 children and worked at Amble Links First School as a classroom assistant helping children who need a little extra encouragement in school. On top of this she runs Amble Netball club, is coach,umpire and also plays for the club. She is also an athletic coach for Morpeth harriers and used to organize the junior athletic team there. She also runs out of school running and netball clubs at Amble Links First School. She has 3 Grandchildren who she looks after around doing all of this. Josie never stops helping others, its amazing where she gets her time and energy from. She has been through so much in her life, she became a full time carer for her husband at the young age of 25 and she had to raise 3 children at the same time. She has focused all of time on helping others and sport is such a big thing in her life.
