Joseph Hayat

Joseph is an inspirational young adult and an extremely positive role model for young people. As a Youth Parliament member and Youth Cabinet representative since 2010 he has devoted his time lobbying on behalf of young people, raising the profile of important issues that effect young people and encouraging young people with less confidence to stand up for their beliefs and get involved. Joseph has shown maturity beyond his years and is continually demonstrating real drive and ambition to get things done and make a difference. In January 2011, Joseph arranged and chaired a Transport Solutions Conference in North Kesteven District Council Offices as part of the Youth Cabinet priority drawing key stakeholders together to look at the issues around transport for young people in Lincolnshire. Amongst many other things Joseph has shown a huge amount of support to the North Kesteven Youth Council and helped them with several projects, including tackling an important issue around Body Image and Self Esteem. Joseph is a real inspiration and deserves recognition for his hard work and achievements.
