Jordan's nomination story

Jordan or ('Scouse') as his nickname, has been involved with Wirral Positive Futures for the past 4 years. During this time he has actively enagaged as a young person attending sessions, through to volunteering at sessions and to present as a qualified coach. Prior to this, Scouse was a troubled teenager who as a result of trying to fit in with the wrong crowd became involved with the Police. His communication skills were poor and he had difficulty adjusting to mainstream school. Fortunately and with the help of Positive Futures 'Scouse' broke away from the negative peer group and has completely transformed his life to the extent that he is now a positive role model for his peers to aspire to. Now a qualified coach with the confidence to deliver sessions to other disadvantaged young people, his story is one of distance travelled in the Positive Futures programme.
