Jordan's nomination story

Jordan was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood cancer. The treatment he needed was only found in Birmingham. He is a very gifted rugby player and after finishing treatment went on to play for the Exeter Cheifs academy. Troughout his treatment he has been an inspiration. When he finally came back to Plymouth he found very little in the way of support for teens with cancer. He made it his job to start fundraising to rectify this. As a result numerous people have now become envolved with raising money too. He has really raised the profile of the teenage cancer trust and also inspired several teams to take part in the Cancer Research relay for life over the past two years, raising tens of thousands of pounds. I know it would make several groups of people proud to see him carry the Olympic torch. We are all so pleased he is still here.
