Jonathan Tait

Jon is an inspiration and role model to young people. He is a teacher and sports coach, dedicating his life to ensuring that young people experience wonderful opportunities and fantastic experiences through sports leadership. Through these opportunities, Jon enables young people to discover their hidden talents and grow in confidence when taking on leadership roles. His dedication to the programmes that he runs has undoubtedly changed some of these young peoples lives as they have visibly grown in stature, becoming ever more responsible and reliable young citizens. As a teacher, Jon works tirelessly to improve the life chances and Future economic well being of these young people by engaging them in their education.'

The 2 current projects that Jon is running have been enormously successful. Firstly Jon has developed a unique link with a summer camp in America to send 16yr olds over to New Hampshire to coach sport for a month every summer. So far (over the past 4 years) Jon has sent over 25 young people for the summer of a lifetime! The experience that these young people gain is incredible. Secondly, Jon is head coach of the most successful youth American Football team in the UK. His Woodham Warriors have been British Champions on numerous occasions and Jon is passoonate about providing opportunities for his young players to also coach younger players and help them to become role models themselves.
