Our next category is for Best Individual Fund raiser for a Corporate Charity Partner. Our winner for this category acted as a truly inspirational leader for his team, demonstrating continued perseverance, enthusiasm and commitment throughout.Our winner galvanized his team to fundraise a sensational amount of money for two very worthy causes. He personally engaged every member of management and staff within his division on this fundraising initiative, encouraging 39 stores to get involved in the fundraising in one way or another. He challenged his team to raise ?100,000 through an innovative fundraising initiative which would be the biggest event organised and delivered in that part of the country. The solution was the Irish Charity Cycle Challenge. This event involved as many individuals within the Irish Division as possible cycling from Belfast to Cork, visiting as many M&S stores along the way as possible. For those of you who don't know Ireland very well, this meant cycling from the North of Ireland to the South! I am sure you will all cheer when you hear that our winner led his team to raise a breathtaking ?250,000 for the Marie Keating Foundation and Action Cancer Charities from the North and South of Ireland.
