Jonathan Platt

Jonathan was born with Cerebral Palsy and is blind. Although confined to a wheelchair he has participated in abseiling,microlite flying, whitewater rapids, completed the Manchester 10K Run raising funds for SCOPE, has performed at the Lowry Theatre in Manchester, was a prominent wheelchair dancer with the UCanDo2 group of able bodied/disabled in front of a large audience in a theatre and is a member of Independance. Jonathan has a great zest for life, NEVER complains and is never daunted - he is quite fearless and always prepared to 'have a go'. Jonathan follows all sports events, is excited about the London Olympics and I nominate him as he is truly inspirational in spite of the handicaps he has overcome.
