Jonny Mckane

Jonny has captained the BP North Sea mixed touch rugby team for the past few years. The touch rugby team is one of BP's most thriving employee-led groups in the Aberdeen area. This is largely due to Jonny's endless patience and enthusiasm. Jonny organises coaching and matches, whatever the weather, twice a week, every week and encourages everyone to take part. The informal training sessions make it so easy for new people to come and take part, get fit, and do some competitive sport. It is because of this that the touch rugby team has allowed many newcomers to Aberdeen to become so easily integrated in the social and sports circles, making a big difference to so many people's enjoyment and appreciation of Aberdeen life. Jonny's hard work and dedication is hugely appreciated by the team at BP.
