Jon Green

My brother Jon gives hundreds of hours every year to help and inspire others. When he's not doing his full-time job at Kent Police, he volunteers at Dover Gym Club where he is Vice Chair, does their website and publicity and organises fund raisers. He's also on the Kent Gymnastics Association committee, helping to organise competitions, announcing and doing their website. He's an active member of the South East Region General Gymnastics Technical Committee and travels all around the region in his own time at his own expense. He has even taken annual leave from work to help at the Kent School Games. On top of this he finds time to help people at work as a Union steward and organising social events. Jon is often described as a 'gentle giant' and gives of himself not for praise or recognition, but because he's got a kind heart and enjoys putting something back.
