Jonathan Collinge

As a teenager, he would wait outside the adidas offices hoping to catch a glimpse of his football heroes and he vowed that one day he would work for the brand. Now, 32 years later, the 3 Stripes continue to run through his blood and he feels as passionate about the brand today as he did back then. He always has time for everyone, whoever they are, whatever their background and he touches many people with his passion, commitment and positive attitude. He inspires the next generation through his work with our charity Jumpspace and the kids at Stockport School. Following an 8-year battle with osteoarthritis, he's having a hip replacement on 12th October so it would be absolutely fantastic to see him running, let alone holding the torch alight! I cannot think of a better Ambassador for the adidas Brand. . Jonathan lives and breathes the adidas standards and is always the man coordinating an event behind the scenes often with little recognition himself. Without Jonathan's tireless commitment to doing whatever is thrown his way, life within adidas would be less interesting, creative or engaging. Jonathan is not only a living example of the adidas spirit but he demonstrates the true Olympic spirit of Team both inside the working environment but in his personal life.
