Jon all in all trains or plays sport 7 days a week , he always looks to improve his abilities and gives up things like games and playing with friends to keep his training at the highest level. Not only does Jon live for sport he also takes time out to help others who maybe dont have the flair that he has , he always encourages his team mates to do their best and enjoy what they do and to try all varieties of sports,he thrives on helping others not as fortunate as him to get fit and enjoy sport. The highlight of this year was being nominated in the South Tyneside sports awards where he won the top honour of editors choice overall sports personality, a well deserverd prize to recognise his commitment to sport. For Jon to have the honour of carrying the torch would let him know er how proud i am for the commitment he gives for sport.
