John Wagner

John Wagner, the owner of the new Holiday Inn and Staybridge Suites London - Stratford City hotels,

is dedicated to regenerate the Newham Borough and to provide a long term benefit to the local

community. Newham, where the hotels will be located is one of the most deprived boroughs in the

UK with high unemployment rates.

John's vision is to employ predominantly local residents, develop their skills and to run mentoring

programmes for individuals to have a sustainable career within the hotel industry. John is offering

his time, industry knowledge and resources to work with Business in the Community (BITC) and

the local Skills Council. He is a member of the working group for IHG Academy in partnership with

Rosedale College & Mellow Lane School and Newham College.

John's exceptional on going work with various partnerships has proven he is dedicated to support

the community, far and beyond the Olympics.
