John Stamp

John has lived in the village 35 years and has always been involved in community projects. In 1999 the village where granted an abandoned mine area overgrown with trees ect to use as a communial area at a nominal rent,During the last 12 years John organised work parties building paths,walkways and a auditorium area for use as a story/teaching space for local organisations. In 2011 the land became forsale and £20000 was raised mainly due to John.
