john has ran thousands of miles to raise money for childrens hospice south west. He has given up his own time and taken holiday from work to do these runs. with his last one just a few weeks ago running from lands end to bath abbey 300 miles in total in just four days.This is a great cause. we think he is marvellous as he is not a well man himself, suffering from a thyroid problem but never complaining.At the moment he has raised over £40.000 for childrens hospice south west. And now planning his next run.During his runs he takes care to plan them so he can run past the hospice that is getting the money for.We feel he really deserves this honor of carrying the olympic torch for all the hard work he has done for all the children that benefit from this charity.
