Raising 1000s over past 25+ years for charities from distance running and still doing it at 90. Local hero and still helps out at deaf club.I have over the past 25 years completed runs up to marathon distanceswancylced and walked in the great north events. I am a local hero and when ever I go out for my runs people from all ages acknowledge me. I am going to complete my 25th GNR this year at the age of 90 proving that age is no restriction for sport when you have the determination. This year I will raise over Ã?â??Ã?£2000 for charities. Being accepted to carry the torch would fulfil my lifetime of accomplishments. I aim to carry on running for as long as possible to inspire children and adults that they can get out there and do it just look at me rain or sun out there at the age of 90.
