John Harding

(Squire's Garden Centres) John Harding has been working for Squire's Garden Centre since 1981. It is his first and only job and he enjoys working for the company so much, he can see hmiself here for many years to come. John left school on a fridat at 15.30 and started with Squire's on Saturday at 08.30 the very next day. John has worked in the same department at Squire's throughout his career and not not only runs the department but also manages the Goods In Sectio, which is the CoS which keeps the whole garden centre running. He is unterrifingly friendly, cheerful and of course conscientious. He has given Squire's 30 years loyal service. He has a wicked sense of humor and is a valued member of our team. John is very active when we are holding charity events in the store, such as Greenfingers and Children In Need. He is the first to volunteer and a very keen and eager part of the proceedings. John and his wife have children of their own and in the last decade have chosen to foster numerous needy children often as an energency andat very short notice. They have only given this up since John's wife became ill. The whole centre agrees without exception that John is the most deserved of all our employees.
