John Dickinson

John has been an avid member of Bournemouth Amatuer Boxing Club for 50 years in September 2011 Staarting as a boxerthen becoming a ABA Judge, Coach and OIC He has given up a lot of his time volentary to help the youth of Bournemouth, Including young offerders, helping them with the disapline of boxing, having pride in themselves and self confidence through the sport , many of whom have gone on to join the Forces and been proud of their country and themselves He worked for many years as a Youth Leader, in a club that had a bad reputation, but gained the respect of local Counellors and Govenors to give the Club and the youths the respect and admaration that all at the club deserved giving many vollentary hours to take the youths to sports events and involving them with the local community and elderly He has given so many hours over the years to the youth of Bournemouth that he deserves recognition for his outstanding effort to help and show them how through the disaplin of sport one can achieve their goal in life
