Jack volunteered with the Mark Scott Leadership for Life Award which offers young people the opportunity to raise money and create a project to improve their local community. Jack, together with colleagues from St Peter the Apostle Secondary School collaborated with pupils from other local secondary schools and utilising 'Tree of Knowledge' (as seen on Dragons' Den) they created a teambuilding workshop that was used within three primary schools. He has also volunteered to help with Sports Development in his local area which involved running coaching sessions and working with the council to help improve sports development in the community. Jack is a writer for 'The Banter' which is a music magazine run entirely by volunteers. He writes gig and CD reviews and articles on varying musical genres. He is also a member of the White Ribbon Campaign which is a project that aims to eradicate domestic abuse towards women.
