Jodie Stimpson

Jodie started swimming for her local club Oldbury Swimming club when she was just four years only and was first introduced to the sport of triathlon when she was 8, winning her first triathlon in Appleby near the Lake District at 9, the triathlon seed had been planted. Jodie epitomised the hard work, commitment and long term vision needed to succeed in sport and is an excellent role model. Jodie has a dedicated support team and family but meeting the financial challenges of elite sport has at times been a challenge but she has not wavered in her commitment to her goals. Jodie inspires and encourages other triathletes of all levels to believe in themselves and to keep the dream alive.
