Joanna Hyams

Jo is involved with a very special charity which raises sets up and runs volunteering projects within the community. In doing this Jo has organised and participated in a huge number of events for our community; handing out soup and sandwiches to homeless in the centre of London, collecting clothes and toiletries for refugee centres, collecting goods for riot victims, cooking hot meals for homeless and needy families and raising funds for injured soldiers. She has always gone above and beyond the call of duty by taking care of those less fortunate than herself and always with a smile on her face and a listening ear. Eg;last year she organised 350 volunteers + 47 projects during the Christmas week, as well as spending a month in a home for special needs children in Sri Lanka. She has a kind heart and a modest head, never seeking recognition or praise; despite how much she deserves it.
