Jo Davies

In the past year, Jo has been responsible for setting up the Women's Network and implementing teaming on this site, as well as becoming a production cell leader. She successfully organised a multi-site Composites Businesses Women's Network event, which has led to improved communication between and within the sites and initiated STEM engagement activities with local schools on at least one other site (Hamble). Other activities she has arranged include facilitation training and leadership talks. She also sits on the engagement committee, has organised events for the local women's refuge and participated in several sponsored challenges to raise money and resources for charities. My department does not yet have teaming but it now appears to be popular and effective on the shop floor. Jo always seems able to find time to listen and help on production matters and has supported changes to improve yield.
