Joakim Karlsson

Joakim Karlsson is a leader and role model within the whole wheelchair basketball world and I can't think of anyone else who better deserves the honor of carrying the Olympic torch! Joakim Karlsson is 19 years old and he has devoted his entire young life to people with disabilities focusing on wheelchair basketball. He is a leader and role model not only for his wheelchair-bound brother who competes in the same team, Norrköping Dolphins disabled basketball team, but for the whole wheelchair basketball world. Joakim also helps organizing sports camps for disabled children.
