Jessica Craig

Positive Futures Families Service works with young people with a learning disability to help them take part in the life of their community. Jessica Craig has volunteered with us since she was sixteen, 4½ years ago. During this time, Jessica has worked with the young people with a severe learning disability with a sensitivity, patience and commitment beyond her years. Her caring nature and understanding of the children's needs, have made a real impact on many of the children and her work is valued both by ourselves and the families of the young people. Regardless of the demands of school and university, Jessica has freely given her time, ready to help at a moment's notice. In addition, Jessica has run in local marathons to raise funds for the service. Jessica's selfless and positive outlook make her an excellent representative for today's youth and a worthy torchbearer.
