Jenny has had to recently give up work because of aspinal problem after working at the local hospital shop for more than 16 years. In that time she has provided support for the volunteers that have worked for and with her during working hours and in their private lives.
She has taken the role of carer for her disabled husband and daughter while still working with other charities, such as Scope, on a volunteer basis.
For the last 3 years she has been a Town Councillor, and in this years elections became Town Councillor and District Councillor. She is also actively involved in the local community groups.
She has constant hip and back pain, often causing disturbed nights sleep, but still gets up in the morning ready for her daily committments.
