Jenny has been raising money for good causes nearly all her life. From the age of 15 when she became a student mental nurse, she has devoted her life to caring and looking after others. She has trekked in Nepal, visited the Leprosy Mission, climbed mountains including base camp Everest, swum, done coast to coast walks, Santa runs, BHF cycle rides, held coffee mornings, car boot sales, tea afternoons, ladies days, etc. and has raised thousands of pounds for charities too numerous to mention. She has been a WRVS worker for many years. I am nominating Jenny in my capacity of president of the Inner Wheel Club of Lincoln where she has been a member for 25 years, raising money for the presidents chosen charities and last year was nominated for, and received, the highest honour in Inner Wheel, the Margarette Golding Award. Her fund-raising is ongoing and her next fundraising adventure starting soon is to travel round the coast of Great Britain visiting every RNLI lifeboat station. She is a truly inspirational lady!
