Jean Turner

(Marks and Spencer) Each year M&S holds its plan A Volunteer Awards which celebrates and rewards our employees achievements as fundraisers, volunteers, Plan A champions and involvement in our 'Marks and Start' programme. Jean Turner is the leader of the famous Chester store fundraising team. Jean and her team have received so many plan A volunteer awards for fundraising for a variety of charities over the years. Namely in 2008 where she led her team to fundraise £35K for 5 different charities and since 1998 Jean has led her team to raise a staggering £250K progressively. As a result of her experience of store fundraising she joined the prestigious judging panel for the plan A volunteer awardsin 2010. Over the years Jean has made an invaluable contribution to her community and we are confident that her hard work and determination will inspire those watching the Olympic Torch Relay.
