Jean Blevin

Jean is the trusts sole staff side representative and played a leading role in developing the trusts health and wellbeing strategy. She played a leading role in the NHS NW Corporate Games, a highly successful event organised by The Walton Centre which involved 17 trusts from around the North West. The Games were accredited with the London 2012 Inspiremark and took place in September 2011. As well as being a key member of the event steering group, she led the work within the trust, recruiting teams for 3 events - and captaining the rounders team. She has launched and is running a weekly evening zumba class at a local community centre. She is helping to set up a netball club as a direct result of the Games event. And she is supporting a colleague in setting up a running group particularly aimed at beginners. CR
