Jason epitomises everything there is about great kiwi determination. He draws his inspiration from those he works with, but underestimates how much of a motivator he is to all of his colleagues.
Having won 4 New Zealand Boxing Championships, Jason's life was turned upside down in 1991 when a motorcycle accident, resulting in the loss of a leg, shattered his 1992 Olympic Boxing dreams. Like a true champion Jason picked himself up, redirected his passions and has been incredibly successful in all of his ambitions, including winning his grade at the Japan Wheelchair Tennis Open and is determined to reach his goal of playing in the US Amputee Golf Open.
Jason puts the interests of everyone else, guests and colleagues, first which speaks volumes for the humility of the man. It is an honour to have a man like Jason working for InterContinental Wellington and we absolutely support his nomination. CR
