Jazz Owen

Jasmyn was England Basketball's Young Volunteer for 2009. She plays basketball for the Sheffield Hatters Basketball Club and assists with the coaching of the special needs section of the club. Jasmyn is also an assistant coach for Yorkshire and Humberside Special Olympics teams. Her other voluntary contributions to the club include coaching and refereeing young players and working as a statistician and score table official for other club teams. Jasmyn is described by a senior Hatters club official as a treasure and an excellent role model for other young people to follow with her involvement and contributions to her club and her sport.
