Jasmine's nomination story

Jasmine has recently been involved in a trip to South Africa to help coach Football in schools and the development of female football out there.

She coaches at Rugby Football Town FC and her enthusiasm as a volunteer has developed a volunteer scheme with 26 new young volunteers taking up voluntary roles at the club.

Her achievements in such a short space of time has aspired others to follow, as she is just 16!

Jasmine's achievements are endless including; Winner of the Eastern Warwickshire Schools Young Leader Sports Awards, Junior Football Organiser Award, Young Volunteer of the Year Award.

Jasmine now coaches the clubs under 12s girls football team every Saturday morning, with new volunteers working with her to gain experience.

As well as coaching, Jasmine also referees.

Jasmine would be a worthy candidate to carry the Olympic torch because of her commitment to volunteering at such a young age. Her story would inspire other young people that volunteering can be rewarding and bring many opportunities with it. CR
