Janice Johnstone

I have personally known Janice for over 30 years; she always puts others before herself and always gives 110%. Janice runs in either 10K races, up to and including Marathon distances in order to raise money. In September this will be her fifteenth Great North Run (which is her only 'holiday' of the year). These are just some of the charities that Janice has fundraised for Rosemere Cancer Trust, Gentle Approach to Cancer she raised £2,000 by running the New York Marathon, Chron's Disease ran the Liverpool Marathon in 2008 raised £1,000, Headstone raised £3,000 and has run the Race for Life several times. When her father passed away in 1995, Janice raised £2,000 for the Royal Preston Hospital Cardiac Unit. Janice works two jobs to try and make ends meet and does not receive or ask for any additional funding to help her with any costs associated in her charitable fundraising.
