Janice Hendrie

Janice Hendrie whole sporting ethos recognises that Olympic Champions were youngsters themselves at one time. She believes passionately that the youngsters of Inverclyde should be provided with as much opportunity as possible to be able to be ' go faster, be stronger, jump higher ' to the best of their ability and while enjoying this experience they not only become better athletes but mature into better people for tomorrow. Janice has been coaching youngsters within the Inverclyde area since 1986 because she passionately believes that sport is a vehicle to fulfilment and her satisfaction is not gained by the many athletes she has coached to British successes but more importantly, seeing youngsters being happy and succeeding in something. This passion, which is tangible for all to see, finds her devoting in excess of 15 hours, week in week out working with young athletes.
