Jane Clemence

Jane has been involved in StreetGames Cardiff from the start. She has inspired communities, colleagues, agencies, volunteers and young people to take ownership of doorstep sport in their community. Cardiff is one of the most vibrant and varied StreetGames networks we have, and Jane has been the leader in amongst it all. She has supported over 50 young people in volunteering opportunities. Some of these have gone onto employment, further education or continued to volunteer in their communities. All leisure centre/community centres now run 'Active StreetGames' sessions and over 12 deprived communities in Cardiff now run StreetGames. She has driven the StreetGames network in Cardiff and Wales. And whilst she is employed in a role to support StreetGames, she goes above and beyond, and is a true community sports champion. She is trusted implicitly by her peers and StreetGames staff and is liked by all.
