In his role as Young Ambassador at Prestatyn High School, Jamie has been responsible for inspiring, leading and coaching a wide range of young people across Denbighshire, his fellow peers, other Young Ambassadors and sports leaders and members of the steering groups he has influenced.. Jamie was influential in developing and leading a programme of developing younger pupils as effective sports leaders. He was committed to giving his time and expertise to help others build their leadership and communication skills when developing them into confident and successful sports leaders. This work ran parallel to his role in assisting the leadership of Prestatyn High School Sports Council and Nutrition and Healthy Living group. The culmination of this was Jamie seeing the project through to completion, overseeing the young leaders lead transition Mini Olympics festivals for Year 6 pupils.. Jamie has shown that as a committed volunteer in his many roles including that of Young Ambassador, he has had a positive impact and influence on the young people he has come into contact with through sport. His passion and enthusiasm has spread to those he has lead and coached through sport, with him inspiring and engaging all of the young people he has worked with this year.
