Jamie Delane

Jamie is the perfect torch bearer as he is a charismatic team player who is a role model for all pupils. He is a student who enjoys his sport to the maximum. To put it simply, Jamie is an inspirational athlete both at Belmont and beyond. We are extremely proud of his many sporting achievements in the Mill Hill Foundation. Last year he represented Barnet and Middlesex at Cross Country running and placed in the top ten. Already this year he has played in the 1st XV rugby squad and is currently in the first XI for football. Jamie`s dedication to his sport is admirable - he trains hard to develop his performance and consequently his whole team benefits as they too work hard to fulfil their maximum potential. Win or lose, Jamie is a respectful player who fully deserves to carry the Olympic torch; we cannot think of anyone better.
