Runs marathons! 1st in April 1999 for Cot death after death of a nephew. Now at 76 marathons still fund raising for Macmillan & Diabetes to I am more than 3/4 of the way towards my goal of 100 marathons. I am a very active member of Eastleigh Running club and encourage people to join who are at various levels of running I particularly enjoy getting people started into running and enjoy supporting those in the beginners groups. I especially enjoy getting people to push themselves towards marathon standard and have supported many people into running their first and subsequent marathons. I am also an active fund raiser.I raised £2500.00 for the cot death charity following the death of my nephew. I have also riased over £12000.00 for Macmillan cancer support and most recently £400.00 for diabetes to support my wife who is a diabetic. I hope to continue running well into old age!
