My husband Jim has been training in the martial art of Ju-Jitsu for over twelve years. and involved in coaching for most of that time.He was approached and asked to start open up a class for local youngsters and five years later Black Mountain Ju-Jitsu Club, based in the Whiterock Road area of Belfast, is still going strong.. Despite the fact that there is not much money to go around he always make sure that classes are affordable and open to all regardless of age and ability. He takes time out to speak to students and treat them as individuals. No matter how bad a day he has had he always makes sure that every child and adult who comes through the door has an enjoyable class and leaves feeling good about themselves. I believe this is an opportunity to show Jim and other volunteers like him how much they are appreciated.
