Jim's nomination story

Jim is such a positive, driven character who works to such a high standard in every aspect of his job at BP. He is also a fantastic mentor, where his influence and style has help delivery quality BP designates. He does all of this, even though he has cancer which is in remission (after a 12-18 month battle 4-5 years ago) and is on medication. Despite having to have constant checks to ensure the cancer is monitored, his way and character is such that anybody who doesn't know Jim would think that he a fit and healthy Highlander. Throughout his illness, Jim's family have supported him and kept him going - a testament to a strong family with a great bond of looking after each other. I think Jim carrying the torch through Aberdeen would be a fitting symbol of his character and strength and dedication to BP.
