James's nomination story

James MacDonald is a regular volunteer for local charities.

He has spent Christmas feeding the homeless and gives huge portions of his pay as donations to charity. He does an annual run, which raised £400 for charity. Furthermore he runs with a friend with dementia every week to help the man with his condition, despite being close to retirement age himself, and both James and his friend have been serving soldiers for this country.

His work has been so beneficial for all those he has helped. His faith and charitable work has touched all our hearts, and countless others who he has given aid to. He gave shelter and food to those who had none on Christmas day, and has given a lot of money and his own clothes.

James Makes a Difference by giving his time, energy and money to selflessly support otthers.
