James's nomination story

James was born extremely prematurely at 23 weeks gestation and had a limited chance of survival. He had to fight for his life and has managed to grow up into a healthy and bright teenager against the odds.He had chronic lung disease when small and could not partake in the sports that he wanted to, even now he can struggle to take part but is willing to have a go.He makes a real difference to the road that we live in by helping neighbours in anyway he can, and is well known at our local shops for being a friendly and polite teenager. He has a heightened sense of justice, respect and fair play wanting everyone to be treated equally. Sometimes he does not get heard because his voice box was damaged from the breathing apparatus that kept him alive when a baby, so this would be a great way of him showing his strength of character to carry something so very special. He runs everywhere he goes although his stamina does not always match his determination. Please give my son the chance to shine
