James's nomination story

I would like very much to nominate a young Gentleman called James Hughes. I am a support worker working for the I.D.S project ( Nugent Care) and James is one of the people who has used our service for many years. James has a condition called Anophthalmia ( born with no eyes) and also has learning dissabilities . James has been in care since a very young age (Banardo's) and at the age of 14 was fostered by Mr & Mrs Courtney to this present day. James is an amazing young man who dispite his Disabilities has achieved so much , James has run over 41 Marathons, including the London one and over 71 Half Marathons. He has also raised tens of thousands of pounds for blind charities. volunteers 4 days a week working at the rescue pony centre, Dog walking at the dogs home and helps staff at fazakerly hospital in liverpool. I really feel given James bravery , willingness to help others and his sporting background perfectly fits the kind of person to represent holding the Olympic torch , this would be an amazing experience for James and a testiment to how people feel about this amazing young man.
