James's nomination story

James is an exceptional young person and has played a major role as a volunteer within the Wrexham area. Within school he is both a 5x60 Leader and Silver Young Ambassador, where he has assisted and led sporting activities during lunch and after school periods. These activities have included refereeing and organising inter-form competitions, assisting with tennis, football, basketball and futsal coaches, as well as promoting activities during assemblies and form times. Due to his enormous passion for sport both in competition and organisation, James has affected other individuals to take part and become involved with activities on offer with school, through talking to younger pupils during free periods and talking to there parents at parents evenings. As well as giving up his free time during school, James also uses his personal time to benefit others by refereeing football matches for young people across the North Wales region at weekends and during the evenings. Due to James' constant enthusiasm, he is regularly used for transition primary school festivals where he inspires much younger pupils to take part in activities, while making every activity fun for all pupils. James Gardner plays a huge role in the delivery of extra curricular sport within Rhosnesni School and his voluntary efforts have affected many individuals around the Wrexham area.
