James Boyd

James is 23years old, incredibly positive, enthusiastic and a great role model for all the young people that is has contact with.

He has just won a county volunteering award for 'outstanding services to cricket' and has been coaching young people in cricket skills for several years. He reckons to have coached over a thousand young people in that time!

James is also a volunteer with a couple of local community radio stations. Lionheart Radio, based in Alnwick and Ultra Radio based in Ashington. Whilst volunteering at at the radio stations he has been training young people and adults in presenting and interviewing technique,voice projection, news reporting and computing skills.

James is a frequent participant in the Great North Run where is has raised money for cancer uk. He is keen, dedicated and a committed active member of his community. CR
