Lee's nomination story

Lee does so much for many organisations outside of work here is a snap shot of some of the things he has achieved.

Sweet Charity - Lee has been Chairman of the North West & Sheffield Area Committee for the past 3 years and has served on the committee for the last 8 years. During that time he has helped raise around £270k for the fund.

Erbs Palsy Group- Abigail ( Lee's daughter ) has right Erbs Palsy. This means that through no fault of her own she was born with only 70% mobility in her right arm. Abigail had to undergo major surgery when she was 7 months old. Lee has raised funds for the charity ( probably over £12k ) and he has also sat on the National Committee of this great organisation which act as not only a support group to parents of children with the same condition.

Newton Hill Community School - Lee is Vice Chair of Governors at my local Junior School One of the things Lee quickly identified was that funding in schools was limited and was really only available for the necessities and luxury items could not really be made available ( such as outdoor play equipment, lighting & staging etc ). Since then Lee has organised 4 dinners & has raised over £17k which has been put to great use as the school now has an amazing outdoor "trim trail" & new staging CR
