Since Jai started to walk he has run everywhere. Jai is an active boy, who has been involved with so many activities both inside and outside of school. His sporting achievements to date : 1. Gold Medal for 800 metres Brent Championship 2010 2. Represented our Borough in 800 meters at London Youth Games 3. Represented our Borough for 2011 London Mini Marathon 4. Part of the Gifted and Talented for Sports and Science at school 5. Plays Hockey for our Borough 6. Has been studying the Art & history of Wing Chun Kung Fu for 8 years 7. Was one of the 5 chosen from 315 children to spend a day at the David Beckham Academy He has raised money for the below charities: 1. CLAPA Cleft Palette Great Ormond Street Hospital £70,000+ 2. South Indian Tsunami Appeal - helped to sort/collate clothes & blankets 3. Multiple Sclerosis 10K run raised £12,000 4. Great Ormond Street Hospital £325 to help towards parent accommodation 5. This summer he will be travelling to Nigeria to help build a water pump for the Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award I believe Jai Padhiar would be a worthy ambassador for involvement in this age old tradition and the opportunity will further forge his character as he moves into manhood.
