Jacki Dixon

At the age of 50 I ran my first Marathon to raise money for the charity Get Kids Going which sponsors children and young wheelchair athletes to become paralympians. I have run many marathons and half marathons, 10ks, 5ks since my 50th to raise money for the charity and am now a Development Board Member of the charity. I am 62 years old now and for my 60th birthday I travelled from Lands End to John o Groats using my Free Bus Pass to raise more money for the charity. I am also a Gamesmaker for the Olympics/Paralympics and am absolutely committed to BA and the Charity to ensure that our wonderful athletes have the best experience EVER. I would like to say that I am inspirational to some of my colleagues at work as I have encouraged them to take up running and to help them stay morivated in mind and body.
