Jack's nomination story

Jack has always been a sporty type of lad and has completed various cycle events for charity: the manchester to blackpool bike ride and fylde coast windmill ride. Jack always gives 100% effort to everything he does. He joined Blackpool Rangers Junior Football Club at the age of 6 and remained until the age of 16. Although an integral part of the team jack was often sidelined and spent many a game on the bench, mostly down to a lack of confidence in his own ability but on occasion by choice: at one cup final he offered to stay on the bench to allow a team mate to get to play at the hallowed Bloomfield Rd ground which sums Jack up really! everybody else comes first... Since leaving school he has developed a real sense of community spirit and has put himself through ther FA Coaching course and now manages and coaches the local under 10 squad. He has shown great strength in taking this on and maturity beyond his years. One of the players has a real difficult family life and Jack ensures that this does not disadvantage the lad by making sure the player attends training and matches this often requires him to drive across town to pick the lad up and drop him off after a longs days work..... It would be great if we could give Jack something special as a show of support and thanks for all he has done over the years for his many team mates and now to the younger local players from the club within the community.
