Izzy Richards

Isobel is a pupil at Cardiff High School and is passionate about sport, particularly Netball which she plays at schoolteam level and at Club level. She has a go at any sport and is always involved in some activity, which may seem normal to most kids, but Isobel also suffers with Cystic Fibrosis. She has never let her illness get in the way of anything she wants to achieve and it is this determined attitude that keeps her healthy. She is an inspiration to all who know her. She fund raises for the Cystic Fibrosis trust whenever she can and has completed the Cardiff Bay fun run with Welsh boxer Enzo Maccarinelli. She even ate sausages with cricketer Phil Tuffnell during CF Sausage week. Isobel has an outgoing and lively personality and never lets her illness, the constant medication, physiotherapy and hospital visits get her down. She will be carrying the torch for all CF sufferersin the UK with a smile.
