Izzy Cotham

I would like to nominate Isobel Cotham.As a family we have been going to Much Wenlock Olympics for the past sixteen years entering many Athletic events.Isobel won the 800m last year and came second this year.Isobel is a keen member of Bridgnorth Athletic Club and has represented Shropshire many times.We have been told by a family member that Isobels Great Grand farther took part in some of the very early games at Much Wenlock (for his horsemanship skills and sadly no early records recorded). I know he won the gold medal for the sword and lance at Olympia in the Empire Games competition in 1897 (commenwealth games). As a family we have played in tennis,football,rugby,cricket,hockey,rounders,netball and badminton clubs. And represented Shropshire in hockey,cricket,football,rugby and athletics.It would be a fantastic oppertunity for Isobel and the family to feel part of the Olympic dream.
